ニュー霧降キャンプ場を舞台に開催する「キッズ＆親子レース」をご紹介します！一人でゴールを目指すキッズレースと、パパやママと一緒に走る親子レース。トレイルランニングが初めてのお子さまも、気軽に挑戦できるレースです🌱

コースは、豊かな自然に囲まれたニュー霧降キャンプ場の芝生や広場、かつてわさび園があった清らかな沢沿いの道を走ります。

苔むした岩の間を流れる澄んだ水や、小さな滝のせせらぎ。色づいた木々に囲まれながら、自然の心地よさを親子で楽しめるコースです🍂

起伏の少ない歩きやすい道が多いため、小さなお子さまも安心して参加できます✨

さらに、完走したキッズ全員には、地元の木工所が手がけた大会限定のオリジナル木製メダルをプレゼント！🎖️

山をモチーフにしたメダルには、完走年と種目名が刻まれます。頑張って走った証として、家族の思い出に残る特別な記念品です。

🌿 Kids & Parent–Child Races

A first step into running in nature.

Held at New Kirifuri Campground, these races offer children a fun and welcoming introduction to trail running.

The course passes through grassy areas and follows a peaceful stream once home to a wasabi farm. Surrounded by moss-covered rocks, clear water and autumn trees, families can enjoy Nikko’s beautiful natural scenery together.

Children can take on the Kids Race independently or run alongside a parent in the Parent–Child Race.

Every child who finishes will also receive a special wooden medal handcrafted by a local woodworking studio—a lasting reminder of their achievement.
